Well, damn.

Negatory, good buddy. We do NOT have Cushings Disease, Syndrome, or any such variation on that theme. What we've got is plain ol' Type 2 Daisy Bee Bees.

I'm tempted to say that sucks and again feel weird for having wanted to have a disease and surgery, but you know what? I'm too damn tired to fret over it anyway. At least I don't have to pee in any more jugs (for a while) or collect my own spit. The new meds are showing some improvement, I feel much more confident about what I can and can't eat, and I didn't really want to have to stay in a hospital or have anything scanned, shaved, or sliced. So, we'll keep on keepin' on. Fine. Whatever.

Thanks for all your support and for feelin' weird with me and hoping I had a disease too. We'll just have to stick with the theory that my body is just slightly out of whack (isn't that always the case?) and that's part of the joy of being ME. Looks like I am going to order that Splenda cookbook I was looking at afterall, and it will be great, and I will make amazing diabetic friendly food from now on and we'll all lose 20 lbs and the world will spin safely on and on...Now if it will just cool off enough to make my evening walk an appealing venture, instead of the sweat-soaked sauna stroll a 95 degree day in the South tends to produce.

A girl with Daisy Bee Bees can dream, can't she?

Glad you finally know what's going though. I think the waiting is the worst....now you know and you can move on which is what it sounds like you're doing already. Let us know a receipe out of the Splenda cookbook!

I think laughter cures a lot of ills, and God Bless the tangerines that dream of becoming an orange.
