Food. Food is oh so important. We tried to go a little healthy with some of my homemade hummus and veggies. So pretty!
Course, then we ramped it up a bit with a garlic and parsley cheeseball and crackers, and habanero jelly. The Hammontrees love a cheeseball, y'all.
Natalie makes a killer Mexican dip--layered refried beans, salsa, sour cream, red bell peppers and onions, cheese, and of course, jalapenos, artfully arranged into the Power T by John! Very nice, dude.
Not pictured are the meatballs in sweet mustard pepper sauce, and Ryn's Buffalo Chicken dip. Also missing are the Dark Chocolate Orange Cream Cheese Brownies, because, well, we ate them, and it wasn't pretty. We tend to over do it (I know you're all shocked) when it comes to the food, and EVERY SINGLE TIME, we swear next week we'll scale back. So far, it hasn't happened.
As for the decor, well, we took it easy this week. The season is just getting started, afterall.
If you're gonna be obsessive fans, do it all the way.
Lil' Smokey watches from the hearth. We have a big Smokey too.
Notice the cups, koozies--hey,even the soda is orange, baby. We are deducting points from Natalie for having no Tennessee apparel on. She promises to do better next time.
